American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Dept RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of ER experience and an active AR or compact RN license.
Details- Work in a 25-bed Emergency Department
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Mid shift schedule from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
- Weekend coverage required, ideally full weekend shifts or at least 3 weekends per month
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required to ICU, CCU, or Med-Surg units as needed
- Uses Tele-med cart, Baxter IV pumps, and Omnicell equipment
- Documents in Meditech EHR
- Active RN license (AR or Compact) required
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
- Current ACLS and PALS certification required
- TNCC and NRP certification preferred
- Experience with trauma, cardiac, and orthopedic patient populations required
- Triage experience preferred
- Facility is a non-designated trauma center treating cardiac, respiratory, and orthopedic diagnoses
- Scrub color requirement: navy or black, hospital t-shirts only, no other hospital logos permitted
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel assignment
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
