Overview: The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies. They intercept consumers and demonstrate products professionally and maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Possess aptitude to gain adequate knowledge of represented products.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer positively.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of products.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
• Properly set up and prepare event table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports per company policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents (Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms).

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficient using personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
• Certificates:
  Local food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands:
  Regularly required to stand and walk during shift; use hands; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk, hear, read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs); push and pull wheeled demonstration cart; prepare foods/beverages using required appliances; contact cleaning supplies.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Work Environment:
  Retail store environment with limited travel.
