• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborate with associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrate knowledge of floor operations, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to established standards; cut boneless meat products; maintain product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintain work area according to company policies and procedures; maintain quality and date control standards; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products; execute basics at highest quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress; determine and recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly and accurately.
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to tackle obstacles head‑on.
• Team player with positive attitude and willingness to help teammates.
• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn meat preparation, safety, and sanitation standards.

• Previous experience working in a meat department or similar food service environment.
• Experience with handheld or point‑of‑sale technology.
• Knowledge of inventory or stock‑take procedures.

Hourly wage: $17.00 to $25.00 depending on experience and location (actual rate may be higher). Local overtime, tips, and bonuses may apply.
