NACHI America Inc., a world-class manufacturer of premium cutting tools, is seeking a highly motivated Territory Manager to drive sales growth and market expansion throughout Oklahoma and Arkansas.

This role is ideal for a sales professional who combines strong relationship-building skills with hands‑on technical expertise in machining, CNC programming, metal cutting, and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will work closely with end users, distributors, manufacturing engineers, programmers, and shop management to identify opportunities, solve machining challenges, and create demand for NACHI cutting tool solutions.

What You'll Do Territory Growth & Sales Development
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan aligned with sales and market-share objectives.
  • Identify, target, and engage new manufacturing customers throughout Oklahoma and Arkansas.
  • Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and customer referrals.
  • Drive revenue growth through direct engagement with production facilities, machine shops, OEMs, and manufacturing organizations.
  • Routinely travel throughout the territory to support customers and business development activities.
Distribution Partner Development
  • Develop strong relationships with distributor management and outside sales teams.
  • Conduct product training, sales support activities, and joint customer visits.
  • Work collaboratively with distribution partners to identify new target accounts and growth opportunities.
  • Support distributor sales efforts through application expertise and end‑user engagement.
  • Partner with internal sales, product management, and leadership teams to increase brand awareness and market penetration.
End User Engagement & Technical Support
  • Prospect and cold‑call manufacturing facilities, machine shops, and production environments to uncover new opportunities.
  • Provide technical recommendations on cutting tool selection, machining parameters, and process optimization.
  • Assist customers with tooling evaluations, productivity improvements, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot machining challenges directly on the shop floor.
  • Support process improvement efforts involving:
  • Milling
  • Drilling
  • Tapping
  • Reaming
  • Turning
  • High‑performance machining applications
CNC Programming & Application Support
  • Work directly with machinists, CNC programmers, manufacturing engineers, and operations personnel.
  • Recommend speeds, feeds, tooling strategies, and process improvements.
  • Analyze tooling performance and implement productivity enhancements.
  • Assist customers with setup optimization and application troubleshooting to increase tool life and performance
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of industrial sales, cutting tool sales, manufacturing engineering, machining, CNC programming, or related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of metal cutting processes and machining applications.
  • Experience working with CNC machines and manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and machining requirements.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a territory‑based role.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior cutting tool sales experience.
  • Experience supporting distribution networks and industrial distributors.
  • CNC programming experience.
  • Knowledge of milling, drilling, tapping, turning, and hole‑making applications.
  • Experience with major CNC platforms such as:
  • Mazak
  • Okuma
  • DMG Mori
  • Makino
  • Fanuc‑controlled equipment
  • Existing relationships within the Oklahoma and Arkansas manufacturing markets
