Field Service Mechanic (Heavy Equipment)

Locations: Rison, Fort Smith & Pine Bluff, AR
Full-Time | Immediate Opening | Weekly Pay

Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic looking for a long-term career with excellent benefits and the opportunity to work in the field? We're seeking a skilled Field Service Mechanic to maintain and repair construction equipment supporting utility operations across Arkansas.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Service diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Maintain equipment including Vermeer and Ditch Witch directional drills
  , excavators, cable plows, passenger trucks, and other utility construction equipment.
• Complete inspections, troubleshooting, service documentation, and field repairs.
• Perform occasional welding and fabrication (preferred).

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of diesel engine and hydraulic repair experience (trade school may substitute for experience).
• Diesel mechanic trade school preferred.
• Experience servicing Vermeer and Ditch Witch utility construction equipment is strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, diesel engine, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred).
• Ability to pass a background check and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel throughout Arkansas as project needs require.

Schedule:
Monday–Thursday with some Fridays required, plus overtime and weekends as needed. Flexibility to travel to other project locations/states is required.
