Material Handler

Job Summary

Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks or trains and within the storage facility.

• Load and unload material within the warehouse or storage facility.
• Operate hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks, or trains and within the storage facility.
• Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
• Work under immediate supervision and report to a supervisor or manager.

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 0‑3 years of experience in the field or a related area.
• Knowledge of commonly-used practices and procedures within warehouse/material handling.
• Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
