Fall River Health Services is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will ensure that patients receive safe, accurate, and effective pharmaceutical care while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. This position plays a critical role in promoting optimal drug therapy outcomes and maintaining the highest standards of pharmacy practice.

• Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide clinical guidance to physicians and staff regarding drug indications, contraindications, dosages, interactions, and side effects.
• Maintain and support the hospital drug formulary, including recommending therapeutic substitutions when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, safety regulations, infection control, and environmental standards.
• Assist in maintaining adequate medication inventory levels.
• In the absence of the Pharmacy Supervisor, oversee pharmacy operations including purchasing, receiving, storing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Participate in facility meetings, training, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Stay current with regulatory and technological changes within the pharmacy field.

Pay starts at $54.09 and will go up from there based on experience.
