About the Role:
  • Bring the CIS brand to life through creative, engaging, and visually consistent print and digital materials.
  • Develop original design concepts that support marketing, communications, and organizational goals.
  • Partner with marketing, leadership, vendors, photographers, printers, and other creative partners to bring projects from concept to completion.
  • Create a wide range of materials, including advertisements, brochures, presentations, webpages, signage, and other branded content.
  • Help maintain a cohesive visual identity and ensure all materials align with established brand standards.
  • Support website updates, executive presentations, photography, videography, and other visual communications needs.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
How You'll Drive Our Mission Forward:
  • Develop creative design solutions for internal and external audiences that support organizational and marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing staff and leadership to establish project direction and deliver effective visual solutions.
  • Design and produce print and digital materials while ensuring accuracy, quality, and brand consistency.
  • Create production-ready artwork and coordinate with printers, vendors, agencies, and other external partners.
  • Develop advertising and marketing materials tailored to the audience, campaign, and communication channel.
  • Maintain and update the CIS website using Word Press, including basic page edits, content updates, image uploads, and link management.
  • Prepare executive presentation templates and materials for meetings, retreats, and organizational initiatives.
  • Support photography, videography, and video editing needs to create engaging visual content.
  • Recommend design tools, technology, software, and processes that improve creative production and efficiency.
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing timelines, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally with leadership, staff, and external partners.
What Makes You a Great Match:
  • 2+ years of graphic design or related experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design/production applications required.
  • Strong creative judgment with an eye for typography, color, imagery, layout, and overall visual composition.
  • Ability to develop creative concepts and translate ideas into polished, professional materials.
  • Experience with photography, videography, and video editing is a plus.
  • Experience with Word Press and basic website content management preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with leadership, colleagues, vendors, and creative partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand standards.
  • Ability to occasionally work after 5 p.m. or on weekends for organizational events as needed.
