• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Strong commitment to personal and job safety
• Mechanical aptitude and dexterity with tools
• Ability to read safety procedures, blueprints, P&IDs, and technical manuals
• Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing)
• Willingness to work overtime and in various physical positions
• Ability to work in temperature extremes and confined spaces
• Subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements

• Graduation from a technical trade school, apprenticeship, certification, or associate degree in instrumentation or related studies
• General knowledge of USCG/MMS/DOT regulations
