A QHSE Technician will be the promoter of positive safety culture and serve as the medium between ASR QHSE Office Based Leadership and ASR Field Operations. Ensuring compliance with Allstream and Client requirements.

• Primary function is eyes on employees and active tasks, manages available time to maximize observation time to ensure SOPs are followed.
• Is an active leader of ASR QHSE Policies leading by example and through coaching moments in the field as well as strong participation in field safety meetings.
• Promotes and coordinates BBS Program through S.T.E.P. Process.
• Promotes and ensures compliance with Learning Management System
• Conducts regular field audits and coordinates corrective actions in the field or to HSE Leadership and Project Manager when needed.
• Reports findings directly to QHSE Director via field report structure
• Promotes the correct and functional use of Stop Work Authority
• Creates forward display of HSE Leadership and Culture
• Develop relationships with field operations to facilitates a team environment
• Deliver training to company employees
• Leader in field SSE Program Compliance
• Fulfill client specific HSE requests when needed
• Perform initial incident data collection such as statements and pictures.
• Provide minor first aid and or transport and coordinate with medical facilities for treatment as directed.

Client base includes Refinery, Shipyard, Tank Terminal and Pipeline Facilities. The position requires ability to function in these environments, working at heights and within confined spaces.
