Piping and Flushing Specialist

RCS, LLC is seeking an experienced Piping Systems Flushing Specialist to plan, direct, and execute flushing and filtration operations for marine vessel and asset piping systems across shipyard, on-shore, and offshore environments. This role ensures all flushing operations meet cleanliness and quality standards required for commissioning, maintenance, and system turnover.

• Develop detailed flushing plans from P&IDs and technical specifications
• Lead and supervise flushing crews through setup, execution, and teardown
• Monitor flow, pressure, temperature, and contamination levels
• Ensure compliance with shipyard, customer, and military/regulatory standards
• Conduct job hazard analyses and enforce all safety protocols
• Maintain flushing logs, reports, and cleanliness verification documentation
• Interface with engineering, quality control, and customer representatives
• Coordinate schedules to minimize impact on other work activities

• 5+ years in shipyard, marine, or industrial piping operations
• Experience supervising piping flushing, hydrostatic testing, or commissioning
• Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical drawings
• Knowledge of pump/filtration systems and contamination control
• Military or government vessel experience preferred
• Ability to work in confined spaces, aboard vessels, and travel as needed
• Technical training in mechanical, marine, or industrial systems preferred
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; able to work extended hours when needed
