Complete Logistical Services is excited to announce the availability of a full-time position for Sanitation within our dynamic team. This role is integral to maintaining the hygiene and operational efficiency of our facilities. Situated in Houma, LA, this role is designed for individuals who are dedicated to maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards. This position is not eligible for remote work, as the physical presence and hands-on efforts of the Custodian are essential to meet the demands of this job.

The Custodian role at CLS provides a critical support function by ensuring that our facilities remain clean, organized, and well-maintained. This is a temp to hire contract position, offering a significant opportunity to join our team on a permanent basis.

• Performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation-related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas.
• May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• General cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pickup, and use of compactor.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Follows all safety rules and completes all duties as assigned per business need.

• Proven experience as a Custodian, Janitor, or in a similar role that involves cleaning and maintenance.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets and the proper handling of cleaning products.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
• Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull required load (usually about 30lbs).
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma is preferred; further training will be provided.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
