Main PurposeAssist mechanics in assembly, inspection, and repair of equipment or components onshore and offshore.
Required Skills- Must have experience working offshore.
- Exposure to hydraulic and mechanical assembly is desired.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Assist mechanics in assembly, inspection and repair of equipment or components.
- Assist mechanic in testing and troubleshooting cranes and crane components.
- Understand and comply with all safety and environmental requirements.
- Perform other duties as required by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
- Ensure company-owned equipment is properly used.
- Live within 1 hour of Slidell or Houma, LA.
Familiar with and follow the Company's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality policies, and participate in compliance and improvement of the Management Systems. Report any accidents, incidents, near misses or potential problems to the HSE(Q) Department Manager. Follow all Company policies and local legislation. Responsible for safety arrangements of subordinates and visitors.
