AMG Specialty Hospital-Houmais seeking PRN Registered Nurses, RN for All Shifts with ICU/Step-downexperience
!

Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient'sclinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

Respond quickly and accurately to changes in conditionor response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Some of the medical conditions thatare commonly treated include but are not limited to;
Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula.

Depending on the complexity of these patients, they can require sedation/pain management, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management.

Complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics. Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes. RN'swill be responsible fordirect and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.

• Graduateofan accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure.
• ICU, Critical Careor Step-Down experience is preferred.
• Current BLScertification.
• Current ACLScertification.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and inwriting.
