Amtel Wireless is a team of ambitious, hardworking and outgoing people who are obsessed with providing amazing customer experiences while delivering on all sales goals. As a District Sales Manager, you will lead multiple retail locations and a team of sales reps and store managers.
Position OverviewThe District Sales Manager is a senior leadership position responsible for leading 5+ retail locations and managing 30+ employees, including Wireless Sales Representatives and Store Managers.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, hire, train, develop and motivate top talent to maximize gross profit and key performance metrics.
- Deliver top-notch results for all locations within the assigned area.
- Serve as a role model for store managers, demonstrating a professional, high-performing, ethical image.
- Act as the face of the organization to internal and external partners.
- Build high-performing sales teams through effective recruitment, orientation, training, development, motivation, and coaching of store managers & wireless sales representatives.
- Lead by example and maintain personal leadership standards.
- Assist store managers with scheduling to meet business needs.
- Maintain thorough product knowledge and be an agent of change.
- Ensure in-store presentation standards are met to carrier audit standards.
- Provide leadership in resolving customer and team member concerns as first point of escalation.
- Build strong relationships and open communication with carrier personnel.
- Ensure communication from senior management is understood and implemented.
- Protect company assets by following established policies, processes, and procedures.
- You love retail sales and enjoy matching customers to products and services that excite.
- You positively influence your team to deliver great customer and team experiences, leading by example.
- You have prior retail sales and leadership experience.
- You are flexible and willing to change.
- You know how to get results and how to have fun while doing it.
- Flexible to work day, evening and weekend shifts based on business needs.
- Travel within your territory up to 75% of the time.
