Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team and communicate with team members;
Demonstrates knowledge of meat department operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation/maintenance;
Cuts, wraps, and prepares meat products according to established standards, including boneless cuts, while maintaining product quality;
Leverages handheld technology to drive sales and improve the shopping experience for members;
Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready work area and packaging, labeling, and storage of meat merchandise;
Represents the department with high-quality service and energy, assisting members with purchasing decisions and answering questions.
