Furniture Mart is looking for a hardworking and dependable Stockroom Associate to join our team in Houma, LA! This is a great opportunity to be a key part of a dynamic retail furniture environment where your behind-the-scenes efforts directly impact the customer experience. • Receive, unload, and process incoming furniture shipments and inventory deliveries
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient stockroom and showroom
• Pull and stage furniture orders for customer pickup and floor display
• Assist sales floor staff as needed
• Safely operate hand trucks, dollies, and other material handling equipment
• Assemble furniture pieces as needed for floor displays or customer orders

• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 75 lbs or more)
• Previous stockroom, warehouse, or retail experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
