Industrial / Construction Electrical Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Industrial/Construction Electrical Supervisor who is not only able to lead crews in the field but is also willing and capable of working with their tools. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising electrical installations, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining project schedules, and actively participating in field work alongside the crew when needed. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, highly skilled electrician, and someone who leads by example on the job site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews on industrial and construction projects
- Perform hands-on electrical work including installation, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards
- Manage job site productivity, manpower, and workflow efficiency
- Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and code compliance
- Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen
- Maintain job site documentation and progress reports
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial and/or commercial electrical experience (supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and troubleshooting
- Ability to work in the field with tools while supervising others
- Familiarity with NEC code and OSHA safety regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel or work on varying job sites if required
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent experience)
- Previous foreman or supervisory experience on industrial projects
- Experience with large-scale construction or plant/industrial environments
