The Carbon Steel Pipe Fitter is responsible for performing layout, fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of pipe systems.

• Perform layout, fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of pipe systems
• Apply a bevel using a grinder with a sanding disc
• Cut the opposing end of the pipe to saddle a pipe of the same size at a 90-degree angle
• Perform silver brazing of a socket joint pipe in the horizontal (flat and horizontal flow) and vertical (vertical up flow) positions per ASME requirements
• Strong understanding of pipe fitting techniques and best practices
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to pipe fitting
• Knowledge of ASME requirements for pipe fitting

• Minimum of 6 months of carbon pipe fitting experience
• Pass a hands‑on pipe fitter test by
