Combination Welder​/Fitter

Houma, LA:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Combination Welder/Fitter with a minimum of five years of experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Flux Core and Stick welding and capable of performing fit-up and fabrication work while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards. Pay ranges from $25.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Perform Flux Core and Stick welding on structural and industrial components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Fit, align, and assemble metal components prior to welding.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Operate welding, cutting, and fitting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Combination Welder/Fitter.
• Proficiency in Flux Core and Stick welding processes.
• Strong fitting and fabrication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and quality standards.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and industrial settings.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
