Job DescriptionWe are looking for compassionate, dedicated team members in the Bayou Region who want to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change that will be sustained long after treatment ends. You will receive ongoing training in the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model as you work with families, youth, their communities, and other key members of their ecology to implement MST as designed, as well as opportunity to participate in our provisional licensure incentive program that provides support with obtaining licensure by offering supervision and continuing education and training reimbursement.
Minimum Requirements- Masters Degree in social services (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology etc.)
- At least 2 years’ experience in social services
- Complete mandatory training series for MST Model.
- Participate in weekly supervision and consultation for the MST Model.
- Schedule and maintain a flexible workweek to meet the needs of families, scheduled program meetings and documentation responsibilities.
- Maintain flexible availability to receive referrals.
- Ensure family intake sessions occur within 24 to 48 hours of referral.
- Provide crisis response and support to families 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
- Provide consistent, quality services while maintaining fidelity to the MST Model.
- Maintain contact with relevant stakeholders for each MST family.
- Promote the agency/program within the community.
- Meet guidelines for submission of notes into AWARDS electronic data system.
- Commitment to the MST Model.
- Ability to work with diverse individuals/families/populations.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain client and employee confidentiality.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires working nontraditional, flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Work is performed in family homes, the community and an office environment.
- Requires extensive travel to family homes and throughout the community.
- Involves exposure to tobacco smoke, domestic animals, household pests, and other conditions common to home environments.
- Maintain a caseload of 4-6 MST families at any given time.
- Provide at least 16-18 hours of billable services per week.
- Data entry into AWARDS and MST Weekly Case Summaries.
