Training Compensation: $190 per day during an 8‑week training period. After training $225 per day plus component pay based on cases, mileage, and stops.
Schedule: Early morning start, four or five days per week, with optional one‑ or two‑night layovers (hotel and food stipend provided).

Food and food service delivery drivers ensure products arrive on time and in good condition. They are the face of the company, building lasting relationships with customers. The Driver Trainee program trains associates to haul freight and operate tractor‑trailers under the guidance of experienced driver trainers.
Responsibilities- Successfully complete the Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program.
- Ride‑with and assist driver trainer during deliveries.
- Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and conduct inspections of tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
- Report all safety issues and necessary repairs.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe‑driving guidelines.
- Inspect trailer for proper load and secure freight.
- Count check items, verify invoices, and complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
- Drive to customer locations and deliver orders according to the scheduled route.
- Unload products, transport them to designated storage areas, and perform damage control checks.
- Verify delivery with customer and obtain proper signatures.
- Collect payments (cash or checks) when required.
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure doors.
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns for driver check‑in and complete necessary paperwork.
- Remove all equipment, materials, and trash from trailers as required.
- Complete daily hours‑of‑service records and log hours per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
- Perform general housekeeping duties aboard tractor, at loading dock area, and keep trailers clean.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 6–12 months of commercial driving experience.
- High school diploma, GED, or state‑approved equivalent.
- Valid CDL Class
A. - Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years.
- Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
- Pass road test.
- Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure a new DOT Health Card.
- Ability to hand‑lift and use two‑wheeler, lift gate, and other equipment to move and stack product cases/freight ranging from 10–35 pounds up to 60–90 pounds, depending on location.
