S&R Clerk

Summary/Objective The purpose of this position is the shipping and receiving of materials, to organize stock in warehouse, and assist with inventory and material pulls for various departments.

Essential Functions Works collaboratively and coordinates with members of other departments as assigned.

Understands the full scope of the work of the organization and is able to execute with or without supervision.

Assists in maintaining inventory levels of shipping materials and supplies.

Organizes and maintains shipping, receiving, and inventory records for stock room.

Ability to pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials and equipment for shipment.

Ability to perform basic computer functions to track shipments and process orders.

Examine incoming shipment contents and compare with records such as invoices and purchase orders to verify accuracy.

Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Shipping & Receiving Manager.

Maintains a clean stock room and receiving area while following safety regulations in accordance with company policy.

Maintains cleaning and basic maintenance of company vehicles.

Maintains basic maintenance of company facility and warehouse.

Ability to operate forklift and other heavy machinery to load and unload materials and equipment.

Ability to act as Truck Driver if called upon.

Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Work Environment This position operates primarily in the warehouse at LeBlanc & Associates. It is subject to environmental changes of heat and cold. It may be necessary to work around welding and smoke and in environments where increased safety measures are necessary.

Multi-level climbing may be required. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, but schedules may change seasonally to encompass weather conditions and project schedules. This position occasionally requires long hours and weekend work in order to meet business needs.

Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be required.

Required Education, Certificates and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s License Forklift Certification Preferred

Education and Experience Experience and knowledge of DOT regulations Commercial Driver’s LicenseHVAC unit knowledge Inventory management
