TBM & SCL Tunnel Electrician — Maintenance & Installations

VVB Engineering provide complete solutions for mechanical and electrical systems; with expertise ranging across the rail, road, airport, power and utilities and construction sectors. We specialise in the construction, maintenance and refurbishment of road and rail tunnels and we are currently recruiting a number of TBM and SCL Electricians with tunnelling experience for one of London's largest ever infrastructure and tunnelling projects.

As a TBM or SCL Electrician you will be working implementing and maintaining the Electrical distribution systems above and below ground.

The position:

· Carrying out preventative maintenance on tunnelling plant and equipment

· Carrying out unplanned maintenance and repairs on tunnelling plant and equipment

· Undertake installation of tunnelling electrical services

· HV Switching and Testing

· Provide on-going surface installations as and when required

What we're looking for:

· Previous experience of tunnel boring electrical works/TBM

· Excellent Health and Safety knowledge

· JIB Gold Card

· Ideally a First Aider

· Ideally hold a Safety Critical Medical
