SC Cleared Electrician
Location:
Southwest
Rate: £28 - £33 hourly rate
Duration:
Ongoing
We are currently looking for a fully qualified, SC Cleared Electrician to join a busy project team working on a secure site. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and testing works while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair works across the site.
- Install and maintain electrical systems, containment, cabling, lighting and associated equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Carry out inspection, testing and fault finding where required.
- Complete electrical works in accordance with current regulations and project specifications.
- Work closely with other trades and site management to ensure works are completed safely and on programme.
- Complete relevant paperwork, permits and site documentation.
- Maintain a high standard of health, safety and quality at all times.
- Fully qualified Electrician - NVQ Level 3 / equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- AM2 where applicable.
- Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
- Valid SC Clearance - essential.
- Relevant commercial/industrial or construction electrical experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical health & safety requirements.
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider site team
