MUST LIVE 75 MILES OR MORE FROM FACILITY
Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care. Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN; STABLE preferred. 3-5 years of OB experience required.
EMR:
Tru Bridge and Perigen.
Skills required:
OB Core Competencies including OB triage, Neonate care. Postpartum rooms: three bed LDRP, two bed PP, one out‑patient room.
Ratios: 1:2 for Labor & Delivery, 1:3 for couplets.
Appearance: professional scrubs required. Facial piercings allowed: single small stud in the nose only. No tongue rings. Offensive tattoos must be covered. No extremes in fashion.
Vaccination requirements:
Flu vaccine required; exemptions accepted. Rubella titer, vaccination record, Hep B, TB test within one year.
Education:
ASN, A-1 Fetal Monitoring Education. Rotation schedule: every other weekend. Float to ER or ICU very rarely.
