Accounting Analyst I​/II

Boardwalk is a limited partnership operating in the midstream portion of the natural gas and natural gas liquids industry, providing transportation and storage services for our customers. Our 14,000 miles of pipeline and storage assets provide diverse market connectivity to producers and end-users who need reliable sources of natural gas for power generation, home heating or petrochemical feed stocks. We are currently looking for an Accounting Analyst I/II for our Houston, TX office.

• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Assist in recording additions and disposals of capital projects in the fixed asset system
• Reconcile fixed assets subledger and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain detailed roll forward schedules of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
• Assist in other (non-fixed asset) general ledger accounting activities as needed
• Provide audit support and documentation as needed for internal and external auditors
• Develop an understanding of Oracle EBS and/or other FA systems

• Ability to work independently.
• Highly organized, motivated and an analytical thinker.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• 0-5 years of experience

• Pipeline or other industry experience

• BA/BS Finance, Accounting, Economics
