Billing Clerk

Description We are looking for a meticulous Billing Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts receivable and billing operations. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who is tech-savvy and has proven experience in managing invoice systems efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Accurately input invoices into the Ariba and Open Invoice systems.

- Review and verify billing information to ensure correctness and compliance.

- Maintain organized records of all invoices and payment transactions.

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies in billing.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.

- Conduct audits of billing data to identify and rectify errors.

- Provide support and assistance in accounts receivable tasks.

- Monitor billing processes to adhere to company policies and standards.

- Generate reports related to billing activities for management review.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives for billing procedures. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a billing or accounts receivable role.

- Strong proficiency in using Ariba and Open Invoice systems.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.

- Ability to work effectively with technology and billing software.

- Solid organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

- Strong communication skills for collaborating across teams.

- Familiarity with billing standards and compliance regulations.

- Proven ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
