Staff Accountant

Tarvos Talent is partnering with a growing organization to identify a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in general accounting who is eager to continue developing their skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support general ledger maintenance and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
• Support AP/AR functions as needed
• Participate in audit preparation and respond to audit requests
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience (public or industry)
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software a plus (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Quick Books, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
