Accounting Manager

Our client, a rapidly growing healthcare organization backed by a leading private equity sponsor, is adding an Accounting Manager to its Houston-based team. This role offers broad exposure across core accounting functions and direct visibility to leadership during an exciting growth phase.

Month-End Close

• Lead key components of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure timely financial reporting

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Oversee AP and AR workflows to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Review vendor payments and support cash flow management
• Monitor receivables, assist with collections, and improve billing processes

Fixed Assets

• Manage fixed asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and ensure accurate reporting

System & Process Ownership

• Utilize Net Suite for daily accounting operations and reporting
• Support system enhancements and process improvements
• Assist with audit requests and financial reporting deliverables

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience with month-end close (MEC)
• Hands‑on AP, AR, and fixed asset accounting experience
• Experience in healthcare and/or private equity‑backed environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self‑starter who can operate with autonomy and accountability
• Experience supervising or managing indirect or direct reports
