Accountant, Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting

The Accountant I will support day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities and assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role works closely with the Assistant Controller, accounting leadership, and operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely close, and compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting foundation and experience working in an ERP environment.

• Perform accounting for multiple legal entities, including plant operations
• Support month-end close including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Manage fixed assets including additions, transfers, disposals, and roll-forward schedules
• Perform income statement and variance analysis
• Track project costs and analyze cost center expenses in partnership with operations
• Record intercompany transfers and resolve reconciling items
• Prepare amortization of prepaid expenses and excess billing entries
• Adhere to monthly close deadlines and reporting calendars
• Assist with audits and provide requested documentation
• Prepare ad hoc reports and respond to management inquiries
• Support process improvements and accounting efficiencies
• Research accounting issues and assist with special projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1–3 years of accounting experience in industry or public accounting
• Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred
• ERP experience is required (SAP strongly preferred)
• SAP S/4
  
  HANA exposure is a plus
• Experience with variance analysis, fixed assets, and reconciliations
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Self-starter with the ability to problem-solve with minimal supervision
