AR & Billing Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team in the restoration industry. • Manage and process all accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, collections, and payment posting
• Prepare and send accurate billing statements to clients in accordance with project milestones and contractual agreements
• Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies promptly
• Maintain detailed records of all billing and payment activities
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely resolution of billing issues
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
• Assist in month‑end closing processes related to receivables and revenue recognition
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all financial transactions

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or finance, preferably within the restoration or construction industry
• Strong understanding of billing software and accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and insurance billing processes is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
