Staff Accountant

Description

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a contract position in their finance and accounting team. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals looking to leverage their expertise in a dynamic work environment and support essential accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statements

+ Support accounts payable/receivable operations and ensure accurate transaction processing

+ Assist with balance sheet and income statement analysis

+ Participate in month-end and year-end close procedures

+ Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting regulations

+ Collaborate on audit preparation and internal controls improvement

+ Utilize accounting software such as SAP, Oracle Net Suite, Quick Books, or Microsoft D365

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

+ 2+ years of relevant accounting experience (corporate or public)

+ Proficiency in Excel and major accounting software

+ Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
