We are seeking motivated and experienced Tax Senior Associates to join our Memorial City or Clear Lake Office. These individuals will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, assisting with tax planning, and supporting client relationships under the supervision of managers and directors. The ideal candidate has strong technical tax knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a desire to continue developing their expertise in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist with tax planning and research projects, providing accurate and timely analysis.
  • Maintain organized and thorough work papers to support tax filings and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Identify potential tax-saving opportunities and make recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with managers and partners on complex engagements and special projects.
  • Assist in training and mentoring staff accountants, providing guidance and feedback to support their development.
  • Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to maintain technical proficiency.
Qualifications
  • Active CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred.
  • 3–7 years of recent tax experience in public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess Tax preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with commitment to client service.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
