Work Arrangement:
Full-Time | On-Site | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | Limited Travel
Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience + benefits

Aboutthe Role
Our client is seeking a Junior Accountant to manage daily financial operations and support upper-level managers and corporate officers. In this role, you will contribute directly to financial reporting, transaction processing, and system accuracy. You will work closely with the Controller and play an active role in maintaining smooth and compliant accounting operations.
This position is ideal for an accountant who has strong Deltek Vantagepoint experience and enjoys working in a structured, project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities- Record and review daily accounts receivable and cash receipts
- Generate, review, and approve monthly invoices
- Manage accounts payable transactions, including vendor and subconsultant payments, credit card transactions, and PTO reports
- Reconcile monthly bank statements with the general ledger
- Oversee weekly timesheet reviews and approvals in Deltek Vantagepoint
- Coordinate employee communication regarding timesheet submissions
- Review monthly benefits transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records using Deltek Vantagepoint
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the Controller
- Support payroll processing, accounts payable disbursements, and quarterly payroll tax reporting
- Analyze financial data for trends and compliance
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Facilitate communication between consultants, management, and the Controller
- Provide guidance and assist in developing standard operating procedures for accounting staff
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- At least 2 years of professional accounting experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience using Deltek Vantagepoint or Vision preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively across departments and management levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
