Staff Accountant

** Staff Accountant*
* Adecco is currently hiring for a Staff Accountant in Houston, Tx.  The Staff Accountant supports daily accounting operations, manages accounts receivable and payable, and contributes to accurate monthly financial reporting under US GAAP. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work across internal teams.

** Responsibilities*
* ** Accounts Receivable*
* + Prepare and issue customer invoices.

+ Monitor aging and follow up on outstanding balances.

** Accounts Payable*
* + Review and record supplier invoices.

+ Validate coding and payment terms.

** General Accounting*
* + Maintain accurate financial transaction records.

+ Prepare and post journal entries.

+ Reconcile balance sheet accounts.

+ Review sales tax on vendor and customer invoices.

+ Create, capitalize, and track fixed assets.

+ Support Treasury with weekly and monthly payment runs.

+ Assist with month-end close activities.

+ Provide daily accounting support and complete ad hoc tasks.

** Qualifications*
* + Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.

+ Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.

+ Advanced SAP and Excel skills.

+ Working knowledge of US GAAP.

+ English proficiency.

+ Ability to work with internal teams such as Purchasing, Treasury, Controlling, and Taxes, and with external vendors and clients.

** Pay Details:**  $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
