Staff Accountant

Description

Our client is looking for a sharp, high‑performing Staff Accountant-perfect for someone coming out of Big 4, a strong regional firm, or a mid-size corporate accounting team who's ready to take on broader ownership and faster growth. This role supports multiple entities and offers hands‑on exposure across core accounting areas.

What You'll Do

+ Handle daily accounting for multiple entities, including partnerships and structured organizations.

+ Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and accurate general ledger activity.

+ Manage intercompany activity, eliminations, and supporting documentation.

+ Oversee fixed asset accounting, including tracking and depreciation.

+ Support month‑end close, financial statement prep, and reporting.

+ Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

+ Work in Net Suite (or similar ERP) to drive clean, efficient processes.

+ Analyze financial data, troubleshoot variances, and improve workflows.

Requirements

What You Bring

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

+ 2+ years in public accounting (Big 4 or regional) or industry accounting.

+ Strong GAAP knowledge and solid technical foundation.

+ Multi‑entity experience is highly preferred.

+ Proficiency with Excel; ERP exposure (Net Suite is a plus).

+ Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to juggle priorities.
