Senior Property Accountant

Overview

Tarvos Talent is partnering with a leading organization within the real estate industry that is expanding its accounting team and hiring a Senior Project Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with strong collaboration across operations, asset management, and finance leadership.

• Own project/property accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support month-end close
• Partner with project managers and accounting leadership on financial analysis and reporting
• Support funding requests, lender draws, and treasury-related activities
• Maintain fixed assets, revenue billings, and cash receipt processes
• Assist with budgets, audits, and financial statement preparation
• Contribute to process improvements and mentor junior team members

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years public accounting OR 4+ years professional accounting experience
• Strong GAAP foundation and advanced organizational skills
• CPA (or pursuing) is a plus
• Experience with large ERPs such as Oracle or JD Edwards is advantageous
