Sr. Accountant Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reporting and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Coordinate all audits, providing requested information on a timely basis.
- Manage general ledger functions, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Monitor project costs to ensure accuracy of allocations within the budget.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies proactively.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP (or other applicable standards).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support initiatives for process improvements such as cost accounting, expense analysis, and margin analysis, or other opportunities.
- Bachelors degree
