Panelmatic, Inc. was founded in 1957 in Youngstown, OH to serve manufacturing industries with the design and build of custom electrical, instrument, and pneumatic control panels. The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing general ledger accounting, assisting with financial reporting, supporting audits, and improving accounting processes. This role will collaborate with the AP/AR teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.

• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce relevant reports
• Support the Controller during audits and budget cycles
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices
• Partner with AP/AR teams and provide guidance to improve workflow and accuracy
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing processes

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• Five plus years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting required
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel required
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload effectively
