Accountant opportunity supporting a high-performing internal reporting team within a well-established upstream organization. This role focuses on corporate accounting, financial and management reporting, and exposure to complex accounting matters, with strong visibility across the business.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Perform revenue and expenditure analysis and review system outputs
• Contribute to financial and management reporting deliverables
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on complex accounting areas
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and reporting timelines
• Assist with technical accounting matters, including IFRS research and application
• Mentor and review the work of junior team members
• Special projects

• Big 4 CPA (or actively pursuing) strongly preferred, ideally with energy exposure
• Alternatively, 2–4 years of progressive experience in financial reporting with demonstrated stability
• Strong foundation in financial reporting and technical accounting concepts
• Exposure to IFRS or the ability to quickly ramp up on technical guidance
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s in Accounting required
