Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare and post journal entries, including recurring and month-end adjustments
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting activities
Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies
Support internal and external audit requests and documentation preparation
Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate financial information and reporting
Assist with process improvement initiatives and accounting workflow enhancements
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4–5 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and close processes
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs preferred
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
