The Accounting Clerk plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day‑to‑day accounting functions of the hotel. This role assists the Finance team with administrative and accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with Makeready standards.

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions
• Support daily revenue reconciliation and posting as needed
• Assist with payroll coordination and related administrative tasks
• Prepare and organize financial reports, records, and files
• Reconcile discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues
• Support month‑end closing processes and financial reporting
• Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information

• Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance preferred
• Experience in hospitality or hotel accounting a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• High level of accuracy and integrity in handling financial information
