Accounting Operations Supervisor (Food Manufacturing only) – Houston, TX | $65,000 - $75,000 | Monday–Friday

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys managing AP/AR processes, improving workflows, and working closely with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing- Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations
- Process vendor invoices, customer payments, ACH/wire transactions, and reconciliations
- Monitor aging reports and assist with collections follow-up
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation for accuracy
- Support month-end close activities and financial reporting
- Coordinate payment schedules and maintain strong vendor/customer relationships
- Supervise and support administrative/accounting staff with daily workflow
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Customer Service teams
- 2+ years of AP/AR, accounting operations, or bookkeeping experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of invoicing, reconciliations, collections, and payment processing
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Distribution, manufacturing, wholesale, or food industry experience
- Experience with vendor management and customer account reconciliation
- Exposure to month-end close and financial reporting support
- Experience improving accounting workflows or operational processes
