Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Cost Accountant to join our Accounting Department located in the Copperfield area of Houston. The role reports to the SVP of Accounting and involves developing budgeting, operational goals, and objectives for the Accounting Department.
Responsibilities- Assist the SVP of Accounting in developing budgeting, operational goals, and objectives.
- Perform and oversee special studies for management, including ratio/trend analysis.
- Analyze financial trends and detect problems.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced knowledge of managerial and cost accounting practices.
- Master’s degree, CPA, and/or CMA designation is preferred.
