Overview
Record revenue and process natural gas plant allocations for oil and gas sales associated with company and outside operated properties, as well as collect associated accounts receivable. Review and process division of interest changes received from Land Administration. Monitor gas balancing, pipeline imbalances, and prepare related general ledger entries. Coordinate with the Regulatory team to report royalties (Federal, State and fee) and State severance taxes.
Perform account reconciliations and analysis on revenue related general ledger accounts. Respond to royalty owner inquiries and work on special projects. Managing and optimizing oil & gas revenue allocations, and insuring accuracy in state and ONRR reporting.

- Manage and optimize oil & gas revenue allocations, and ensure accuracy in state and ONRR reporting.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution in an accounting related field (e.g., Finance), including core accounting classes relevant to the position, is required.
- 5+ years of oil and gas revenue accounting experience or comparable oil and gas accounting experience is required.
- CPA is a plus. Must have working knowledge of and ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others to meet rigorous deadlines. Requires accuracy and analytical ability, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Windows, MS Excel, and Word. Knowledge of AS400 system and MS Queries is a plus.
- Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
