Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
OverviewWe are looking for an accounting professional with experience in both general ledger accounting and financial/regulatory reporting
. This role supports two key work streams within the business:
- Joint Venture Accounting (50%) – managing accounting activities related to joint venture assets, including general ledger responsibilities.
- Reporting (50%) – preparing and supporting internal management reporting, external partner reporting, and regulatory/GAAP reporting.
- Perform general ledger accounting activities for joint venture assets.
- Support accounting and financial reporting processes.
- Prepare and review internal management reports.
- Assist with external partner and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable reporting standards.
- Contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience with general ledger accounting
. - Experience with financial reporting
, such as: - Regulatory reporting
- GAAP reporting
- Internal management reporting
- Ability to work across both accounting and reporting functions.
- Experience in the midstream energy industry
. - Experience with joint venture accounting
. - Experience preparing financial statements
