Bookkeeper

Tour-Rific of Texas is a Student Group Tour Operator providing Group Travel Services for schools in and outside of Texas. Tour-Rific is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper that can handle all aspects of the Finance and Accounting function.

• Perform bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial reports
• Reconcile balance sheets, credit card statements and bank statements to ensure accuracy
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Utilize accounting software to input and organize financial data ()

• Run the Payroll process in Quickbooks from end-to-end including generating tax documents
• Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes
• Work with external clients on billing, invoicing, collecting, reconciling, etc.

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools Quick Books Online, MS Excel
• Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations and procedures is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
• Strong analytical skills for financial report writing and analysis
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Previous experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is preferred
