Overview

A leading company in the oil and gas services sector is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with GAAP standards, and supporting inventory and cost accounting in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced with Net Suite ERP.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting functions
• Complete month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure accuracy in GL coding and adherence to GAAP standards
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage bank reconciliations and accruals
• Maintain AFE records and fixed assets
• Assist with routine external audits and tax preparation
• Monitor and resolve FIFO inventory variances
• Generate post-close monthly financial reports
• Participate in special projects and continuous process improvements

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Preferred: CPA or Master’s degree in Accounting
• Experience: 3+ years in general accounting, preferably within manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of Net Suite ERP and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of GAAP, inventory, and cost accounting principles
• Experience supporting audits and tax processes

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on involvement in Net Suite ERP implementation or upgrades
• Exposure to compliance audits in a manufacturing environment
