INSPYR Solutions has partnered with a fast‑growing company located in Downtown Houston and is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This position involves account and bank reconciliations, deposits, assistance with financial statements, and GL accounting.
Responsibilities- Help gather and analyze information from the general ledger system.
- Help analyze information and develop spreadsheet reports, verifying information.
- Assist with general ledger entries.
- Prepare payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
- Assist with accounting support.
- Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Assist with response to SOX internal and external audit requests.
- Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Perform projects and other duties as assigned.
